Steven Anthony grew up and attended school in Fordyce, Arkansas, graduating from high school there in 1979. In 1983, Steven graduated from Washington & Lee University with a degree in Business Administration. In 1986, he received a Juris Doctorate from University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, and is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas.
 
As a teenager, Steven began his ATI career during summers by pulling lumber on the green chain. In 1986, Steve joined ATI full-time as Vice President of Legal Affairs. In 1995, he became Vice President of Pine Production, and in 2004, he was named President of Anthony Timberlands, Inc.
 
Steven has previously served as Chairman of the Arkansas Forestry Commission, past President of the Arkansas Forestry Association, and President of the Southern Forest Products Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bank of Bearden, and the Executive Committee of the Arkansas Forestry Association.
